Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA)

The Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) seeks to increase the awareness and performance of Latin American students at BLS through our mentoring program, workshops, and presentations on topics of current interest and importance. Members enhance communication with the local Latin American community through our established public service program, and also work to create and foster strong connections with the greater legal community.

Your donation will help LALSA provide the following opportunities to our members:

• Bar Prep Scholarships: Every year LALSA provides its graduating members with the opportunity to receive full and partial scholarships to a bar prep course. 
• Pro Bono trip to Puerto Rico: During Spring break LALSA members have the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico to assist the community with an array of legal matters. While participating in this trip LALSA members get to accumulate pro bono hours that count towards their graduation requirements. 
• LALSA Moot Court Competition: Every year LALSA sends at least one team to compete in the HNBA moot court competition. This year our moot court team will compete in Seattle!
