The Latin American Law Students Association’s (LALSA) mission is to increase the visibility and performance of Latinx students at Brooklyn Law School. LALSA does this through our mentoring program, workshops, and presentations on topics of current interest and importance, such as academic and professional development. Members enhance communication with the local Latinx community through our established public service programs and work to create and foster strong connections with the greater legal community. Through your support on Giving Day, LALSA hopes to continue its legacy as a supportive affinity group to its members.
Please support LALSA! Donations will be used towards general body meetings, mentorship programs, academic panels/workshops, moot court competitions, networking opportunities and events with fellow classmates and alumni such as Havana Night and Alumni Dinner. Additionally, donations will go towards bar prep scholarships, giving financial support to graduating students studying for the bar. This year alone, LALSA funded scholarships for seven of our members.
