2023 Spring #BLSGivingDay: Invest In Student Success!

YOU and YOUR PARTICIPATION are the keys to success! 

#BLSGivingDay places YOU at the center. Our goal is twofold: 

1. We strive to raise support for the Annual Fund, which ensures we can: 

• Provide financial aid to every student in need.
• Support faculty pedagogy and research. 
• Invest in our dynamic educational programs and initiatives. 

2. We aim to provide student organizations with a platform to highlight distinct activities and the opportunity to engage with the Law School community and raise support. This year, student organization participants include: 

• BLS Athletics 
• Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society 
• Brooklyn Law Immigration Society 
• Latin American Law Students Association 
• Legal Hackers 
• Muslim Law Student Association 
• South Asian Law Students Association 
• Student Bar Association

3 Campaign Challenges! 

1. $50,000 Donor Challenge! An Anonymous Champion will donate $50,000 when 275 donors participate in #BLSGivingDay.

2. $50,000 Giving Challenge! Trustee Debra Humphreys ’84 will donate an additional $50,000 when the campaign raises $75,000.

3. Student Campaign Goal Challenge! $500 will be awarded to ALL student organizations that raise $1,000 or more, and an additional $500 will be awarded to the ONE student organization with the most donors by the end of the campaign.
